Bamboo Cot Sheets Now In Stock!
Without doubt, our nicest cot sheets ever - made from premium bamboo.
Click this link and scroll to the bottom to see them.Bamboo is an absolutely wonderful bedding fabric. It's naturally hypoallergenic making it perfect for a baby's extra sensitive skin. Bamboo fabric is anti-bacterial so no bacteria, bed bugs (eww!) and dust mites can live in it, and it also resists yeast, mould and funguses.
How does it feel?
The feel of bamboo fabric is quite different to cotton. It feels more like silk or cashmere so is so very soft against a baby's skin. It's warm in winter and cool in summer due to its exceptional breathability and natural wicking properties.
Bamboo cot sheet care
Looking after your bamboo cot sheets is easy. Pop them into the machine on a cool wash (30 or 40 degrees). Don't wash them in a hotter wash - it's just not necessary as bacteria can't live on it and it doesn't do the fabric any good. Line dry or tumble on a very low heat. Bamboo fabric is resistant to wrinkles but can be ironed on a cool setting.
Exceptionally Environmentally Friendly
The bamboo plant used to make the fabric that we use for our bamboo cot sheets needs no fertilizers or pesticides to grow, and requires less water than cotton. Bamboo absorbs more carbon dioxide than the same area of trees, and produces a third more oxygen, improves the health of the soil and has a yield per acre 10 times that of cotton! Our cot sheets are not bleached - they're the natural ivory colour of the bamboo - so no chemicals used there, either. Our bamboo cot sheets are panda safe - this is NOT the variety of bamboo eaten by pandas!!
